Installation of MailEnable MailServer on my Server
To install MailEnable mail server, perform the steps given below ;
- Login to your server as administrator.
- If you have microsoft default smtp running on the server, stop the application before proceeding with the installation process. Refer the article to stop the default smtp service.
- Download the standard version of MailEnable.
- Double click on the downloaded .exe file -> Click on “Run.”
- Click “Ok” to continue.
- Click “Next” to continue the installation process.
- Specify the Name and the Company name and then Click “Next.”
- Click “Next” to agree the license agreement.
- Specify the “Installation Directory” and Click “Next.”
- Leave the Repository same as the “Destination directory.”
- Enter the postoffice name as “postmaster” and enter a Password for it. Click “Next” to proceed.
- Enter the domainname and the resolvers used on the server. Also specify the smtp port as 25. Click Next to continue.
- Click Next to complete the installation process.
- Click “Finish” to complete the installation process.
