The Business Solutions & Technology Services (BSTS) Group of the company provides project and solution based services to Iris’ customers in the U.S. Some examples of these services are software development, software maintenance, and support and maintenance of Web-based portals. These services are executed using a combination of in-US and offshore resources and facilities of the company.

Job Description

Iris is looking to augment the BSTS team with a Pre-Sales person to be located at our New Delhi office in India. This person will be responsible for assisting the sales teams in the sales process and interacting with software technical teams for software estimation and project execution.

This individual shall be expected to possess the following experience:

1. Pre-sales capabilities: Software estimation, architecting solutions, assessing and defining project scope, and developing proposals in response to bid requests.
2. Program and project management: Be involved directly in managing projects as a project manager, or be involved in defining and assisting customers and Iris teams through the execution of a project by defining project blueprints, transition plans, etc.
3. Solution development: Assist the sales team by defining solutions, preparing project collateral, overseeing solution development, etc.
4. Practice Management: Assist BSTS team members with defining and collecting project metrics, developing project best practices, defining and measuring project risks, etc.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have the following profile:

Essential:

1. At least 8 years of experience in a (software) technical area in roles such as project manager, developer, etc. on the .Net or Java platform.
2. At least 3 years of verifiable experience and achievement in most of the areas listed above.
3. Must have worked with offshore execution teams.
4. Self-driven and motivated to achieve success.
5. Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. click here
